Baseball statisticians have declared WAR on fun. Like most modern fans I agree that WAR has some value, but it is an amalgamation and not a statistic and surely should not be used as the catch all for analyzing players that it has become.
That said, this blog aims to butcher statistics and have some fun. Make peace not WAR.
